Kay - Tom's Mom October 5, 1919 - December 30, 2008

Sarah, Kay, & Tim

Waldo & Kay, Vern & Mark in Bolivia
Kay was born in Abilene, TX.
Everyone she met knew she was proud to be from Texas.

Her family moved to Washington where her Dad worked surveying White Pass. While her family lived in Enumclaw, they joined the Assembly of God Church.

She graduated class from Northwest Bible Institute. Kay & Waldo married during Thanksgiving break at college. They were married for 49 years and had Vern, Mark, Becky, Tom, (Daniel, David) & Tim. Waldo, her twins, and her son Mark all preceded her in death.

After college Kay & Waldo went to Texas to learn Spanish. They left on the first ship to leave the west coast after WWII to Bolivia, for their first missions term. The next forty-five years they were missionaries to Bolivia, Cuba, El Salvador and Mexico.

She loved having company and being a hostess. She loved surrounding herself with pretty things,
And she was artistic in many different ways; doing pottery, drawing, and in arranging her home.
She added a touch of beauty to everything she saw.

This picture tells it all. Come on over and lets have
some cake & tea.
